A floor is only as good as its prep and its edges. We install wide-plank hardwood and laminate over a flat, sound subfloor, rack the planks so the grain looks right, and hold the layout so it runs square to the room. Then we finish it properly: clean transitions between rooms, tight thresholds, quarter-round scribed to the wall and the base tied back in. Whole open-plan living spaces or a single room, the result lies flat, feels solid and looks finished at every edge.
