Lilburn is one of the older suburbs in Gwinnett. If your tile shower went in years ago, it may not have the waterproofing a shower gets today, and in a humid climate a shower like that can hide damage behind good-looking tile. When we rebuild a shower we take the old one out, build the new one waterproof behind the tile and under the floor, and then set the marble, stone or porcelain on top.

My tile shower looks fine but I see soft grout or loose tiles. What does that mean?
It can mean water is getting behind the tile. We would need to look at it in person. If the shower needs rebuilding, we take it out and build the new one waterproof before any tile goes on.
